Royal Takeover
Created By, Marissa Blacknall for MSU student project.
Royal Takeover is a fight for the throne set in a medieval village.
This is a very rough demo of the game. The idea is that the player, a member of the royal family, battles against opposing forces to keep the crown. The player and enemies will eventually have the ability to enter into combat. The player will be able to collect points by picking up the coins and will advance to the next level by reaching the gold crown. These aspects are still a work in progress and are not currently enabled. In this demo you should be able to get a feel for the theme through the surroundings and in game music as well as what the player will encounter.
I created the main menu with original art along with UI buttons and music that align with the theme. I created a unique level and gave the player a sword to go along with this being set in an earlier period. I also added animations for snow and wind.
Known Issues: There is a bug with the "W" key that makes the player float. I have not been able to figure out how to fix that. Press the "S" key to come down.
Builds available: Windows and WebGL
Credits: Assets and music are from the unity store from the vendors below. With some scripts used from the MSU provided packages during the course.
